• Assume that your web site domain is example1.co.uk, a subdomain in this case would be subdomain.example1.co.uk.
• You do not need to register another domain name, subdomains are free (hosting package dependant)
• Using our system, you can run a separate “sub” site in a subdomain, for example a forum. (e.g. forum.example1.co.uk as opposed to example1.co.uk/forum)
• You can set up a subdomain from your cPanel using the login credentials we gave you.
• You will need to install Joomla! in the subdomain folder on your account to have the same kind of site on your sub domain. We can do this for you for a small fee.
  

Parked Domain:

• You have two domains example1.co.uk and example2.co.uk.
• example1.co.uk is the domain of your website and you want to add example2.co.uk.
• You want them both to go to the same place. In other words, when someone types either example1.co.uk or example2.co.uk they will go to the same page(s) on your website.
• In order to have additional parked domains you need to purchase the additional domain(s) and then set it up via your cPanel.
  

Add-On Domains:

• You have two domains example1.co.uk and example2.co.uk.
• You want the two domains to be totally separate/independent websites.
• In order to have additional parked domains you need to purchase the additional domain(s) and again, set it up via your web site’s cPanel.
